Spring 2024 - Time to pay your fees again. With the start of the spring season, fees are due again. The schedule is posted below. Please note that Ben Brenman games start at 7:30pm this season. If you are new to the league, use the contact form below to find a team.

Summer 2024 - Pick-up games for league members will be held every Sunday night in July and August. Any individuals who are not members, please contract us before joining the games. While there is no charge for the summer pick-up games, we do need a signed liability waiver before you join us on the field.

If you are an experienced player who wants to get back on the pitch, or new to the game and wondering why your child loves to play soccer, come out, have fun, and meet new people from around Alexandria.

AMSL - An Over-40 Recreational Soccer League

AMSL was started by parents for parents over 10 years ago to allow the parents of ASA players to play soccer in an organized league in Alexandria.

The league started with four teams and grew to eight full teams of coed soccer prior to 2020. The league currently has six teams. If you'd like to join us, please complete the form below and as opening arise, our team captains will get in touch with you.

AMSL Features:

Discounted cost for couples
Minimum age: over 35 for women, over 40 for men
4 women and 7 men on the field
No slide tackling - gentle play emphasized
Games are 80 minutes on Sunday nights
All games played on local turf field
Professional referees
Summer and winter pick up on local turf fields
Various social gatherings throughout the season (team sponsored)
Women's clinic in the winter and summer (on demand)

2024 Pay player or sponsor fees

Fees are due each season (Spring and Fall) and include the pick-up games after the season is over. You can pay your Spring 2024 fees online using the button below, or the green button in the upper left hand of the screen.

Regular Season Fee: $100 each season

Regular Season Fee Couples: $110 each season

Non-Resident Fee: $35 each season

Sponsor Fee: $412

ALEXANDRIA MASTERS SOCCER LEAGUE, INC. TEAM ROSTER AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

The purpose of this document is to ensure that the Alexandria Masters Soccer League, Inc. (“League”) is identifying all persons playing in matches or practices, and to obtain a release from them. By paying the league fee the Player (“Player”) is doing the following:

1) Representing that I am physically fit and able to participate in strenuous physical activity;

2) Acknowledging that the Alexandria Masters Soccer League, Inc., including but not limited to its officers, team captains, members or agents, (the “League”) is acting solely as a facilitator and coordinator in arranging soccer games;

3) Acknowledging that I am likely to suffer a physical injury while playing in soccer games or practices arranged by the League or any of its teams, up to and including death or serious bodily injury, or to suffer an aggravation of a pre-existing physical injury, and I assume all such risks;

4) Acknowledging that the League is not responsible for the conduct of players, referees, field conditions, or of any of my personal property. The League makes no representation, warranty, guarantee or assurance of any manner, express or implied, with respect to any soccer games or practices, the fields, players, or referees, whether as to availability, quality or suitability;

5) Acknowledging that if I observe anything that is unsafe, that I am stop playing immediately, whether or not the game continues;

6) Releasing the League from any and all claims, losses, costs, damages or other liabilities, arising directly or indirectly, from or attributable to, in any manner, the soccer games or practices, to the fullest extent allowable by law.
